The Walls
1 of 3: This upgrade is a fortification for the keep walls.
2 of 3: It isn't the least bit useful until late in Act III, right before the big siege. You'll probably want to wait until Act III, Part 4 to buy this upgrade. (Or you might want to get it earlier, when you manage to save up way more money than you know what to do with.)
3 of 3: After you buy the basic wall upgrade, you can pay to have the walls reinforced.
