Neverwinter Nights 2 Hints

The Harvest Brawl

  • 1 of 14: Go to the brawl area and talk to Brother Merring.
  • 2 of 14: He'll tell you to grab some training clubs and practice first, so do that.
  • 3 of 14: Get the three clubs from the barrel next to Brother Merring and give one to Amie and one to Bevil.
  • 4 of 14: NOTE: If you've done the Knaves' Challenge and still have Kipp with you, don't give him a club. He won't be allowed to fight with the rest of you.
  • 5 of 14: Have everyone equip his club (by dragging it to his main hand slot in inventory), then click on one of the nearby practice dummies to attack it.
  • 6 of 14: After you destroy it, talk to Brother Merring again to hear the rules and then fight some wimps who'll be easy to beat.
  • 7 of 14: When it's over, ask for healing and then say you're ready to fight the Mossfelds.
  • 8 of 14: Then talk to Wyl Mossfeld, who's standing nearby.
  • 9 of 14: NOTE: You can make a bet of 10 gold with Wyl, but doing so will get you a chaotic alignment point and lose you 5 influence points with Bevil. Refusing the bet gains you 5 influence points with Bevil.
  • 10 of 14: If you've quicksaved really recently, start the fight and see if you can win it. If not, try again, maybe after doing other quests and leveling up.
  • 11 of 14: Once you manage to win, talk to Brother Merring to get 500 XP in addition to all the XP you gained from the fights.
  • 12 of 14: Also talk to Wyl Mossfeld to collect 10 gold if you made the wager with him earlier.
  • 13 of 14: NOTE: Brother Merring won't heal you again, so you'll have to use the Rest key instead.
  • 14 of 14: NOTE: If you lose to the Mossfelds, you could tell Merring that you concede to them instead of asking for a rematch later. That way you wouldn't have to fight them again, but there's no way you'd get the Harvest Cloak item later.
