How should I handle this little problem?
1 of 6: Before you view a merchant's inventory for the first time, equip all your Intelligence-boosting items and drink a potion of Fox's Cunning if you have one, then quicksave your game.
2 of 6: While viewing his inventory, pick out one item in your inventory and see what he offers to pay for it.
3 of 6: Make a named save with the amount he offered as the save name (to help you remember it), then restore your quicksave and repeat the process.
4 of 6: If the merchant offers you more money for the same item, then save over your named save, since you just got a better percentage.
5 of 6: Repeat this several times until you're fairly sure you're getting the highest percentage you can.
6 of 6: If you can later on boost your Appraise skill somehow (by raising it or your Intelligence), you can repeat this process with merchants you've already done it with in an attempt to get a higher percentage.
