1 of 3: Lorne's magic equipment is in a chest next to the Sunken Flagon's exit door whether you killed him or let it happen in a cut-scene.
2 of 3: If you managed to win the trial earlier by using your conversation skills, there'll be another chest near the door called "Gift from Lord Nasher."
3 of 3: It contains an Amulet of Truth, which will grant you True Seeing while you wear it without inflicting any penalties (like the Caretaker's Veil does).
