Ammon Jerro's Haven, At Last

  • 1 of 12: You get this quest when you talk to Mephasm right after entering the haven.
  • 2 of 12: As he'll tell you, you need to somehow gain the cooperation of three of the five other fiends held captive on this level in order to be able to teleport to Ammon Jerro's laboratory.
  • 3 of 12: Starting in Mephasm's room, you can make a circuit around this level, meeting imprisoned fiends as you go.
  • 4 of 12: You can pick any three of them and gain their help in order to make this work. Hints for each are below.
  • 5 of 12: After you get three or four of the above fiends to help power the portals, use the portal in any of their rooms to travel to the laboratory.
  • 6 of 12: Move into the purplish glowing rune circle that's right next to where you appear to sound an alarm and get the resident warlock to appear.
  • 7 of 12: Once he's damaged enough, Shandra will manage to ruin his power source and get herself killed.
  • 8 of 12: When you regain control, use the portal to return to the demon prison area and approach the warlock, who turns out to be Ammon Jerro.
  • 9 of 12: Whatever you say to him, he'll use the power left in his sanctuary to teleport you all safely out of it.
  • 10 of 12: When you talk to Jerro in the Phoenix Tail Inn, do your best to choose topics that won't lose influence with him.
  • 11 of 12: After that, save your game and go toward the exit door to meet Sir Nevalle.
  • 12 of 12: He says that Lord Nasher summons you to the castle. When you go, Act III will begin with Part 1: Attack on Castle Never.
