Neverwinter Nights 2 Hints
Alliance with the Lizardfolk
1 of 15: Travel to Highcliff when you're ready to start working on this alliance quest.
2 of 15: On the way, you'll encounter some refugees from Highcliff under attack by lizardmen.
3 of 15: Gain the lizards' attention in some way, then rush to the attack.
4 of 15: After that's over, finish your journey to Highcliff using a transition point.
5 of 15: Talk to Elder Mayne at the "Town Center" map pin about the situation.
6 of 15: Then talk to Vlssk, the lizardman prisoner who's being kept in a pen just SE of the town center.
7 of 15: You'll learn that he's badly injured, so heal him with a spell or healing kit (or two) and then talk to him again.
8 of 15: He'll tell you about Batha, their current leader, so go see if you can get him to talk to you.
9 of 15: Head down to the "Lizardman Camp" area and speak to Batha.
10 of 15: No matter what you say, you'll have to fight him and a few of his guards. It's a *very* tough fight, so be well-prepared for it.
11 of 15: One trick that may help is to attack Batha until he turns into a huge earth elemental, then stay out of his range and attack his guards until his transformation wears off.
12 of 15: When he's beaten, talk to him about allying with you against the Shadow King, and agree to let him probe your mind for deceit.
13 of 15: He'll finally decide to ally the lizardfolk with you, and he'll give you a couple of magic items, too.
14 of 15: Don't neglect to report the good news to Elder Mayne on your way out.
15 of 15: When you next return to the keep, you'll find Lasshiva in the basement near Grobnar. You can't do anything with her, but you do have her as a lizardfolk representative.
