Stop the Shadow Reavers
1 of 21: Aldanon has no idea how to kill the shadow reavers, so you'll have to ask someone else.
2 of 21: Khralver Irlingstar, an emissary from Luskan, can be found at the keep near its front door after you've done at least some of the alliance quests listed in the Part 2 hints.
3 of 21: Talk to him and agree to meet with Sydney Natale in a place of her choosing.
4 of 21: When you say you're ready to go, you, Qara, and Zhjaeve will be taken to a forest area.
5 of 21: Once there, rest and level up if Qara and Zhjaeve need it, then buff everyone up good.
6 of 21: Save your game, then talk to Khralver to get the meeting going.
7 of 21: It'll turn out that Sydney Natale has the shadow reavers' True Names on a scroll, and she needs Zhjaeve to read it.
8 of 21: Unfortunately, she has a vested interest in seeing to it that you and Qara die. (This ties in with Johcris' revenge on Qara for what happened way back when you first met her.)
9 of 21: After they're all down, loot Natale's body and find the ore vein just NE of the forest's world map transition point before returning to the keep.
10 of 21: Ammon Jerro will meet you and reveal that he also can use the True Names against the shadow reavers. (He'll get a duplicate of the True Name Scroll no matter what dialogue options you choose here.)
11 of 21: He'll also say that Kana has had some success in tracking the reavers, so go talk to her about it in the keep building.
12 of 21: When you approach her, she'll mark the location of one of the shadow reavers on your map.
13 of 21: NOTE: You can now do more at the keep until your keep time is 82%. (See the Keep Tips and Notes.)
14 of 21: When you're ready, go to a world map transition point and travel to the Shadow Reaver Camp area.
15 of 21: Take Jerro or Zhjaeve with you to use the True Name scroll, and have the rest of your companions be your hardest-hitting warriors such as Khelgar, Casavir, and the construct. (Or you might want a spellcaster or two who can summon up tough creatures and then hit the enemies with powerful damaging spells.)
16 of 21: When the battle starts, concentrate on keeping the shadow reaver's allies away from whoever's doing the True Name thing for you. (Note that he'll stand still and start casting the True Name spell automatically, so there's no need to micromanage that process this time.)
17 of 21: Hopefully, all of the reaver's allies will be dead by the time the True Name spell is finished casting so that you can then concentrate on killing the reaver.
18 of 21: After it goes down, loot its body to obtain the last silver shard that you need in order to reforge Gith's blade.
19 of 21: That was only the first of six shadow reavers. The second one is featured in the "Reform the Sword" quest.
20 of 21: The third one can be found right after that quest is over.
