Mt. Galardrym Notes and Tips

  • 1 of 8: At the first path split you come to, go west to reach a small fire giant camp that has an ore vein in it. (It's just north of the locked treasure chest.) When you're done there, return to the path split and take the NE branch.
  • 2 of 8: When you come to the spot near the NE corner of the area where the path splits again, you can take the east branch to reach some interactive boulders. (Also, look for a small optional fire giant camp a bit SE of the path split.)
  • 3 of 8: You can push the interactive boulders down on the fire giants' main camp to kill a few of them if you want to.
  • 4 of 8: Whether you do or not, go to the main camp and kill off all the fire giants and hell hounds there.
  • 5 of 8: TIP: For max XP, kill off everything in the camp and *then* go push the interactive boulders.
  • 6 of 8: After that's done, you can loot the camp and free some prisoners (just talk to them) for bonus XP. Also, don't neglect to discover the ore vein at the west end of the camp.
  • 7 of 8: Head along the path that starts SW of the main camp to eventually reach a transition point that leads to the area with the fire giant king.
  • 8 of 8: The other transition point that's a bit east of that (near the pushable boulders mentioned earlier) leads to the canyon where a red dragon named Tholapsyx hangs out.
