Neverwinter Nights 2 Hints

How can I get to West Harbor? It's not available on the world map.

  • 1 of 8: Then look for an indirect way to travel there.
  • 2 of 8: Or to an unreasonable facsimile thereof.
  • 3 of 8: You were in a shadowy, ruined version of West Harbor recently. Do you remember how you got there?
  • 4 of 8: It was during the Ritual of Purification part of Act II.
  • 5 of 8: You got to the shadow West Harbor area by traveling through the Song Portal in the Ruins of Arvahn.
  • 6 of 8: So return to the ruins and find the portal again.
  • 7 of 8: Enter it after Zhjaeve activates it to get taken to the Guardian Ruins in the swamp.
  • 8 of 8: TIP: If you want to "cheat" and keep all of the silver shards after you get the sword remade, return to the keep and put them all in the inventory of a companion you're not going to take with you. After you finish reforming the sword, you can go back to the keep and get  your shards from whoever was holding them. (Note that they're of the most use in henchmen's inventories from then on if you're using the Silver Sword of Gith, since it has many of the same bonuses.)
