Neverwinter Nights 2 Hints
Investigating the Silver Shard
of 14: After you speak with Daeghun again, you're ready to head out to the Weeping Willow Inn.
of 14: Use one of the two world map transition points to travel to the inn, then approach it to witness a brawl in the making.
of 14: No matter what you choose to say, the three brawlers will attack Khelgar Ironfist, so you might as well run over and hack one or two of them up for the XP.
of 14: After you and Khelgar go into the inn and talk a bit more, you'll get the "Khelgar Vision Quest" added to your journal.
of 14: You'll also get the "Under Assault" quest right after you and Khelgar kill off some enemies that break into the inn.
of 14: Before you leave the inn, talk to Jorik behind the bar on the ground floor and see if there's anything you want to buy or sell. Also, if you pass an easy Diplomacy check, you can get 50 gold for saving his inn.
of 14: Outside the inn, look for remains bags from the brawlers you killed earlier, then go to either of the two world map transition points and travel to the Fort Locke region.
of 14: When you're ready to leave, get over to the world map transition point at the west end of the glade and travel to Highcliff. This time, you'll make it.
of 14: However, you'll quickly learn that no ship is safe sailing to or from Highcliff. In order to sail to Neverwinter, you'll have to do the "Ship Sabotage" quest to make the seas safe again.
of 14: At the docks, talk to Elder Mayne and accept his reward to get a great suit of Armor of Loyalty that you can have one of your fighters wear.
of 14: After you rest up, barter with the local merchants, etc., talk to Elder Mayne one last time and tell him you're ready to sail for Neverwinter. That'll get you to Act I, Part 3: Trouble in the Docks District, in which this quest is continued.
