Ash from a Powerful Vampire
1 of 13: Ask Melisande about "Vampire Ash" after she gives you the ingredient list.
2 of 13: She'll say to kill a vampire named Hindaril, who's imprisoned in a dungeon near the North Panther River.
3 of 13: The dungeon is Redwater Slough (location 15 on the Nibenay map), so go there to find Hindaril.
4 of 13: In the slough's first large cave room, drop down to the large pit in the center and find the passage leading east.
5 of 13: TIP: Before you do that, try to jump up to the high-up coffin near the NE corner of the large cave room so you can grab the magic sword from it.
6 of 13: At the path split, head south and go through the underwater passage to reach a large cave room with a big pool in it.
7 of 13: Find the chest in that room's NE corner and get the key from inside it.
8 of 13: Then return the way you came and go north from the path split.
9 of 13: Go through the locked door that the key opens, then head east at the first opportunity.
10 of 13: Wind around a bit, then go NW at the final path split to reach Hindaril's room.
11 of 13: He'll start without a weapon, and may go running off to find one when you attack him if you've left any lying around.
12 of 13: TIP: Put all previous enemies' fallen weapons inside containers before you attack Hindaril. He'll run for one of those containers, but probably won't be able to get anything out of it.
13 of 13: Once he's dead, raid his body to get his special ashes.
