The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Minotaur Tips
1 of 7: If you're level 18 or higher, you can fight one, two, or three minotaur lords in the Arena.
2 of 7: You can use the General Arena Combat Tips to help you defeat them, plus one additional tip that applies only to minotaurs.
3 of 7: They're too big to easily fit down the narrow passage that leads from the Bloodworks door to the Arena floor.
4 of 7: So retreat down that passage when the battle begins, hoping that the minotaurs will get stuck at the passage's entrance. They usually will.
5 of 7: If a minotaur manages to follow you into the passage, you can run past him and back out to the Arena floor, hoping he'll get stuck in the passage while trying to follow you out.
6 of 7: Stuck minotaurs are prime targets for arrows and spells. Also, you can hit them with melee weapons and then back up a bit whenever you need to heal up.
7 of 7: NOTE: Minotaur lords always yield grand souls when soul-trapped, so you might want to come prepared to do that to at least one of them.
