Staff of Worms Tips
of 6: Mannimarco's Staff of Worms has a special scripted power that can reanimate any dead NPC for 30 seconds.
of 6: Aim at the dead NPC you want to reanimate and use the staff on him to bring him back to life.
of 6: The staff sometimes doesn't work, so you may need to try two or three times. Fortunately, it has a *lot* of charge, and can be used many times before it needs recharging.
of 6: After an NPC is reanimated, he will fight any nearby hostiles for you until the reanimation effect wears off, at which time he will fall over, once again dead.
of 6: Before you use the staff on a dead NPC, you can give him one of your high-quality weapons to use to make him more powerful during his brief period of "life." You can always get it back after he dies. (Unless he goes through a door to another region while animated -- that can sometimes mess him up and make him disappear.)
of 6: It's especially fun to have a constant Chameleon effect on you of 100% or more (see the Enchanting Tips) and to keep arming and reanimating NPCs in an area so they'll keep fighting each other until they're all dead. Just don't do this in a city unless you're willing to risk killing off shopkeepers, trainers, and other useful but non-essential people.
