House-Annexing Tips
of 5: Right after you kill off a house's occupant(s), you should drop all your stolen goods and go pay your fine to a guard (or serve jail time) to get that whole bounty thing out of the way right away.
of 5: Note that if you kill a person in a single-occupant dwelling, there will be no one to report the murder, so you'll only get a 40-gold bounty for the assault.
of 5: I particularly recommend Dorian's house in the Imperial City Talos Plaza District because killing him is one way to get lots of glitch money (if that glitch still works in the version of the game you're playing). In any case, it's a great house to take over. See the Useful Glitches for more info.
of 5: An important note is that most containers in a house you've annexed by killing someone will eventually respawn, so you'll want to store all your stuff on the floor.
of 5: Or better yet, use the Dorian gold glitch to get lots of gold, then buy a legit house and furnishings for yourself somewhere, since the containers in it will never respawn.
