How can I open this gate and survive the traps?
1 of 8: There's no way to shut off the traps. You'll just have to run quickly through them when necessary and then heal up.
2 of 8: As for the gate, look around for some levers or jeweled statues.
3 of 8: There's a row of three levers on the north wall just a bit west of all the dart traps.
4 of 8: Try using one or more of those levers, then braving the dart traps to see what effect it had.
5 of 8: There are actually three barred gates down there, two of which start in the open position.
6 of 8: Either experiment with the levers to find out which one controls which gate, or read on for the answer.
7 of 8: For all the gates to be open, the left lever has to be in the left position, the middle lever has to be in the left position, and the right lever has to be in the right position.
8 of 8: So if you haven't messed with the levers yet, all you need to do is use the right lever once and run through the dart traps to reach the Hall of Winter door.
