The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Other Bounty Notes

  • 1 of 7: One is in a hard-to-get-to jewelry box at Fort Variela (location 44 on the Heartlands map).
  • 2 of 7: To get to the box, start by getting up on the high ground west of the fort, then moving from there onto the squarish section of upper floor. Jump over to the top of the pillar to the east, and then over to the wall above the large archway east of that. See the link below if your Acrobatics skill isn't up to doing those jumps.
  • 3 of 7: Just a short way north of Fort Gold-Throat (location 11 on the Nibenay map), a bounty note can be found inside a chest that's on the west side of a large pillar.
  • 4 of 7: The last one is lying around loose next to a Poison of Paralysis at Fort Rayles (location 26 on the Colovian Highlands map).
  • 5 of 7: To get to the potion and note, go around to the high ground north of the fort, then use it to get up on top of the fort's jagged perimeter wall. Turn left and jump your way along the jagged wall top until you can get off on the down-sloping roof-like thing on the fort's east side. You'll find the note and potion on the right at the bottom of the slope.
  • 6 of 7: A "note of exception" that's very similar to the bounty notes can be found up on a wall niche at Fort Strand (location 6 on the Gold Coast map) next to a Potion of Agility and a Weak Potion of Detect Life.
  • 7 of 7: To get up there, go to the high ground at the NE part of the fort and get onto its upper floor, then jump over to the top of the large NW archway. From there, it's an easy jump to the small nearby ledge with the note and potions.
