The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Get Brother Martin to Join Up
1 of 4: See the Combat Tips to find out how to get Brother Martin, an unkillable quest-related character, to follow you around and help you in combat.
2 of 4: He can distract and attack enemies while you wear your Chameleon Clothing and just watch (or easily sneak-attack the enemies for huge damage).
3 of 4: Martin is especially useful once you get up to level 20 or so. Go around to several lairs with leveled enemies (like bandits and marauders) and let Martin help you kill them so you can plunder all their great leveled loot without much risk or effort.
4 of 4: NOTE: Martin would be a very big help during some of the previous steps in this early development process, such as getting the Umbra sword, but it would be very hard to do all the stuff you have to in order to get Martin to join you before you have a complete set of Chameleon Clothing. (It is possible, though, especially if your Sneak skill is very high.)
