How can I get those gates open?
1 of 9: Return to the chapel and talk to Berich Inian about the guard house key Matius said he'd have.
2 of 9: TIP: You can also talk to some newly arrived legion soldiers to get them to follow you and help you fight.
3 of 9: Inian will say to follow him, so do so.
4 of 9: You'll go into the Chapel Undercroft area, where you'll start meeting Daedric opponents.
5 of 9: After that, you'll go back outside and fight more Daedra before Inian leads you to a small guard house full of supplies.
6 of 9: After looting the place (it's legal), talk to Inian to get him to unlock the trap door that you need to take.
7 of 9: NOTE: If Inian got killed anywhere along the way, you'll need to get the key from his body so you can unlock the trap door yourself.
8 of 9: The passageway past the trap door is enemy-free, so just head on down to the other end and use the ladder to climb up into the area between the two large castle gates.
9 of 9: Go up the stone steps and use the large "gate lever" wheel to open the gates.
