Other Strategies
1 of 4: You could follow him along as he moves from one city to another, hoping he'll get killed by wandering creatures. (He never will if he's traveling on his own. See the AI radius info in the Misc. Tips.)
2 of 4: Or you could try casting a powerful Frenzy spell on him or someone near him while he's in a city to see if you can get him killed that way.
3 of 4: If you're good at Conjuration magic and can summon a powerful creature to aid you, you might want to try attacking him when he's traveling between cities.
4 of 4: It would help if you could paralyze or silence him (via spell or poison) on your first attack. If so, you and your summoned creature both pounding on him at once may finish him off before he recovers.
