The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Level-Up Notes

  • 1 of 3: Remember to buy five points of skill training before each level-up whenever feasible so that your skills will be even higher.
  • 2 of 3: I always like to go to Chorrol and train in Athletics with Honditar and Mercantile with Seed-Neeus, since those are two skills I use all the time but that are extremely slow to raise through practice alone.
  • 3 of 3: Don't get discouraged if you don't get very good attribute multipliers on your level-ups. Attributes are by *far* the least important factor in developing a powerful character who can handle the increased challenges of a high level and a high difficulty setting. Skills are the most important factor, and equipment is the second most important. (And you'll be getting some really great equipment after you level up a few times.)
