The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Combat Tips
1 of 5: Most of the guards will probably die right away, but you don't need to worry about the tough old Burd -- he can't be killed, and will always recover quickly after being knocked unconscious.
2 of 5: That is, unless he stupidly runs out into some lava and gets knocked out by it. If he does, he may not ever be able to get back out.
3 of 5: If this happens, you can try going ahead to the sigil citadel and entering it to see if that'll catch him up to you.
4 of 5: A better way is to tell him to stay where he is after you kill off the Daedra near the Oblivion gate, then go on ahead and clear the way to the sigil citadel by yourself.
5 of 5: This is especially easy if you have a full set of Chameleon Clothing, since you can then sneak-attack Daedra and knock them into nearby lava.
