1 of 4: Be careful as you descend the mountain that the Oblivion gate is at the top of -- you can do so in many ways, and a lot of them involve falling damage.
2 of 4: There's a Blood Well tower at the SW end of the main island where you can restore your health and magicka and grab some loot.
3 of 4: A short ways NE of the Oblivion gate is a dungeon called The Bowels that has some more loot.
4 of 4: Another "Bowels" dungeon can be entered through a door next to where you find Farwil.
