The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
The game keeps crashing when I do that!
1 of 7: This mainly happened to me when I tried serving my time without listening to the conversation between Jorundr and Logellus.
2 of 7: If waiting until after the conversation doesn't help, you'll have to break out of the jail cell instead of serving your time.
3 of 7: The best way to do that is to prepare ahead of time. Before you get thrown in jail, sneak down there and break into Jorundr's cell.
4 of 7: Put the Skeleton Key or a bunch of lockpicks into the barrel in the cell, then go get yourself arrested.
5 of 7: After Logellus finishes talking and leaves, get your picks out of the barrel and use them to escape the jail cell.
6 of 7: Sneak over to the evidence chest and regain your gear, then sneak out of the dungeon.
7 of 7: As for your bounty, talk to a guard sometime and choose to pay it.
