Faction-Related Commands
When using the faction-related console commands below, get the faction form numbers from the following list.
2228F - Fighters Guild 22296 - Mages Guild 24164 - Thieves Guild 2F872 - Dark Brotherhood
The console command "player.setfactionrank <form#> <rank#>" can be used to join a faction or adjust your rank in it. If you just want to join, use a zero for <rank#>. For instance, the command "player.setfactionrank 2228F 0" (w/o quotes) would put you in the Fighters Guild at the beginning rank of Associate. Use numbers from 1 to 9 for higher ranks, or a -1 to unjoin.
Also, you can use "player.modfactionrank <form#> <mod#>" to adjust your rank, where mod# is how much to increase or decrease your rank. EX: The command "player.modfactionrank 24164 2" would raise you two ranks in the Thieves Guild.
WARNING: If you cheat-join a faction instead of going through regular channels, you may find it impossible to get quests from the faction's quest-givers.
If you're ever expelled from a faction for any reason, you can instantly cheat your way back in by using the "setpcexpelled <form#> <exp#>" command. Use a zero for <exp#> to get things fixed up. You'll also need to reset the faction's crime counter for whatever it was that got you expelled. The commands are "setpcfactionsteal," "setpcfactionmurder," and "setpcfactionattack," and they work just like "setpcexpelled."
EX: If you're expelled from the Fighters Guild for stealing, type "setpcexpelled 2228F 0" and "setpcfactionsteal 2228F 0" before talking to any Fighters Guild members.
