of 11: Like the Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood isn't a real guild (and doesn't even pretend to be), so you'll have to use atypical means of joining once again.
of 11: Since the Dark Brotherhood is the more evil and murderous branch of the Morag Tong (the Imperial assassins' guild in Morrowind), why not try to get their attention by murdering someone?
of 11: Fortunately, you don't have to murder anyone publicly, receiving the 1,000-gold fine for murder on top of the 40-gold fine for assault.
of 11: Instead, find someone who's home alone and kill him or her. You'll still get the 40-gold fine for assault (since there was a living witness to it -- your victim), but you won't get the 1,000-gold fine for the actual murder (since there was no living witness to it).
of 11: TIP: I recommend Dorian in his house in the Imperial City's Talos Plaza District. He lives alone, his house is a great one to steal from when you're fencing items for the Thieves Guild, and you may be able to use Dorian as a useful glitch to get unlimited gold.
of 11: The first time you murder anyone who counts, you'll get the message that your killing has been observed by forces unknown.
of 11: They'll make themselves known the next time you sleep anywhere. (You can't sleep in houses you're trespassing in, so you may have to rent a room in a nearby inn.)
of 11: After you take care of the bounty on you by surrendering to a guard or seeing a Thieves Guild Bounty Removal person, sleep for an hour in any bed.
of 11: When you wake up, Lucien Lachance will be there to talk to you about your dirty deed.
of 11: By the time you finish talking to him, you'll have an initiation quest to do.
of 11: Talk to everyone else around, then find Vicente Valtieri the Vampire in a room a short ways to the NW. He'll be the source of your first few Brotherhood contracts.
