The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
The Desolate Mine
1 of 9: Talk to gro-Khash about "Contract" to get this quest.
2 of 9: He'll give you some weapons to deliver to the Fighters Guild members in the Desolate Mine, which is location 1 on the Great Forest map.
3 of 9: Watch out for goblins as you approach the mine entrance.
4 of 9: Inside, find the three Fighters Guild people a short ways to the NW and talk to Rienna about "Weapons Shipment."
5 of 9: After she takes the bow, talk to the other two guys to give them their weapons. (Note that Elidor prefers the sword, and gro-Bharg prefers the hammer.)
6 of 9: After you get a journal update, follow the three warriors into battle with the goblins.
7 of 9: You can hang back and let them take the brunt of the assault, but if any of them die, you'll get less of a reward later.
8 of 9: You'll get a journal entry when all the goblins are dead. If you're not getting it, scour the mine for goblins that the other warriors missed.
9 of 9: After looting the mine (including some rocks that yield silver and gold ore), return to gro-Khash in the Cheydinhal guild and talk about "Contract" to get your reward.
