Skingrad Recommendation

  • 1 of 12: Speak to Adrienne Berene in the Skingrad Mages Guild about "Recommendation" to get this quest.
  • 2 of 12: Ask around about Erthor to find out where he's got to lately.
  • 3 of 12: Vigge the Cautious will say that he's probably in Bleak Flats Cave, and then Druja can tell you where that is (i.e., mark it on your world map).
  • 4 of 12: Talk to Berene about the cave before you go in order to get a free Weak Fireball spell.
  • 5 of 12: The cave is at location 13 on the West Weald map, so go there and start exploring it.
  • 6 of 12: You'll find a bunch of deranged zombies as you explore. Kill them as you come across them.
  • 7 of 12: TIP: Lead each zombie to the cave's exit door, then go outside, enter Sneak mode, and go back in. The zombie will probably have already turned around and started back the way it came, allowing for an easy sneak attack. Repeat until the zombie is dead.
  • 8 of 12: After they're all dead, Erthor (who's hiding out in a room near the cave's SE end) will follow you out when you talk to him.
  • 9 of 12: WARNING: Don't let Erthor see you take anything from his room, or you'll be counted as stealing from the Mages Guild.
  • 10 of 12: TIP: There's a rock wall down the NW passage leading off from Erthor's room that will lower when you use the nearby lever.
  • 11 of 12: Once you make it outside with Erthor, fast-travel to Skingrad's East Gate and then run west to the Mages Guild.
  • 12 of 12: Inside, talk to Berene about your recommendation again to get it.
