The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
The Stone of St. Alessia
of 10: After you finish Oreyn's "Trolls of Forsaken Mine" quest, talk to Azzan to get the news about being demoted, then ask him about "Contract" and "Stone of St. Alessia."
of 10: Travel to Bruma and talk to Cirroc in the Great Chapel of Talos.
of 10: Ask Cirroc about the stone and the bandits who were seen leaving right after it was stolen.
of 10: He says they headed east out of town, so go through Bruma's East Gate and along the path until you find K'Sharr. (Check for a quest arrow on the local map if you need help finding him.)
of 10: Talk to him about the stone to learn that ogres attacked his bandit band and made off with the stone.
of 10: Ask him about Sedor to get it marked on your world map, then head there to find the thieving ogres. (Thankfully, you can just fast-travel there.)
of 10: When you get to the large room with all the side passages, go down the north passage to find the closed gate that leads to the room with the stolen stone.
of 10: Once you're past that gate, you'll find the Stone of St. Alessia on a pedestal.
of 10: Grab it and make your way back outside so you can fast-travel to Bruma and give the stone to Cirroc in the chapel.
of 10: Then return to Azzan in Anvil to finish the quest (and to get your rank of Guardian restored if you've already done gro-Khash's next-to-last quest).
