Infiltration

  • 1 of 11: Talk to Oreyn about "Duties" and "Infiltrate" after you finish the interrogation in the previous quest.
  • 2 of 11: He wants you to infiltrate the Blackwood Company to find out what the secret to their success is, so fast-travel to Leyawiin.
  • 3 of 11: Enter the Blackwood Company Hall (just south of the local Fighters Guild building) and talk to Jeetum-Ze, who's probably up on the second floor.
  • 4 of 11: Ask to join the Blackwood Company, then answer his questions.
  • 5 of 11: After that, follow him down to the Training Hall, where he'll give you a bottle of Hist sap and ask you to drink it.
  • 6 of 11: And there you have it -- the secret to their strength. They brought back a Hist tree from Black Marsh and managed to keep it alive so its illegal sap could be harvested and given to company members right before they head off on quests.
  • 7 of 11: Oreyn will tell you that you were found unconscious in Leyawiin's streets, and you'll then have a chance to tell him about the Hist sap.
  • 8 of 11: He'll ask you to return to Water's Edge and check on its residents, so go there via fast-travel.
  • 9 of 11: Go to where you and the other Blackwood guys killed the outdoor goblins to find not goblins, but several dead sheep.
  • 10 of 11: There will also be four dead people nearby (possibly standing up and looking alive due to a game glitch) plus one real live person named Marcel Amelion.
  • 11 of 11: After talking to Amelion, report back to Oreyn to finish the quest.
