The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

How can I get to Falcar in Silorn?

  • 1 of 11: The instant he goes through the door, he's teleported to the ruins' furthest reaches, so you can't just enter right after he does and back-whack him.
  • 2 of 11: In the starting area, find your way to the SW room and use the door there to get to Silorn Sedorseli.
  • 3 of 11: When you get to the large room with some alchemy stuff on a stone table and a locked gate in the NE corner, look around for a way to leave the room other than the gate.
  • 4 of 11: In the next big room, use the pressure plate on the floor to open a couple of gates so you can get to a door that leads back to the original Silorn area.
  • 5 of 11: You'll appear in a spot you couldn't get to before, so move forward and look for something useful.
  • 6 of 11: Besides a couple of Ayleid treasure containers, there's a push block that you can push down in order to open the gates in the large room north of you.
  • 7 of 11: Jump over the railing into that room, then head forward through the newly opened gates to get to a door to Silorn Buroseli.
  • 8 of 11: TIP: In the second room north of the entrance, find the easy-to-see push block that raises the Varla stone cage so you can nab another valuable Varla stone.
  • 9 of 11: Just north of that, you'll find Falcar. He's a lot tougher than he should be, so finish him off quickly with your best spells and weapons.
  • 10 of 11: After he's dead, search his body to find the colossal black soul gem that you were sent after.
  • 11 of 11: You can then go back the way you came or head east to find more combat and loot plus another exit.
