The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Finishing Up
1 of 6: Now that you're Arch-Mage, you can use the Arch-Mage's Quarters at the top of the tower as your own.
2 of 6: Not only can you sleep in the bed, but you can also use the new spellmaking and enchanting altars up there instead of going to the regular spellmaking and enchanting areas.
3 of 6: There's also the enchanted chest. To learn more about it, talk to Polus and then Julienne Fanis in the Lustratorium area about "Ingredient Collection."
4 of 6: Basically, if you want more of an ingredient item that you have, put one in the enchanted chest and come back and check it after 24 hours have passed (and before a full week has passed).
5 of 6: NOTES: The chest can't duplicate special ingredients like nirnroot or poisoned apples, and it won't work if you try to put more than one ingredient in. Always put in only one portion of one non-special ingredient. Also, remember that it will only duplicate something once a week.
6 of 6: Another neat perk is that you can talk to any mage apprentice who's wandering around the university area and have him follow you around. They can be useful to take along on combat missions.
