The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Nocturnal
of 15: Nocturnal's Shrine is at location 24 on the Blackwood map.
of 15: You'll have to be at least level 10 to get this quest.
of 15: Talk to the giant statue to be asked to retrieve a special jewel called the Eye of Nocturnal.
of 15: You're told to start searching in Leyawiin, so fast-travel there and ask around about the Eye.
of 15: That doesn't help, but try asking a city guard about Leyawiin.
of 15: He'll tell you that two characters named Weebam-Na and Bejeen have been bragging recently about "finding" a valuable jewel.
of 15: So find Weebam-Na's house and go inside.
of 15: Talk to Bejeen and/or Weebam-Na about the Eye of Nocturnal, then leave the house.
of 15: Go into sneak mode and reenter the house.
of 15: You should soon overhear a conversation between Bejeen and Weebam-Na that reveals the location of the Eye.
of 15: If not, you can skip that and move on to the next hint, which will tell you where to go.
of 15: Go to Tidewater Cave (location 17 on the Blackwood map) and start looking for the Eye.
of 15: Head forward from the exit door and turn left, then go straight down the water-logged passageway until you can turn left again.
of 15: Keep going until you can go underwater and find a treasure chest and the Eye of Nocturnal jewel (a very large, glowing thing).
of 15: Grab it and return to Nocturnal's statue in order to trade the Eye in for the Skeleton Key, an unbreakable lockpick worth five thousand bucks. You won't ever want to sell it, though, since it boosts your Security skill by 40 points and allows you to use "auto attempt" over and over to open just about any locked item in the game. No need to be careful with your lockpicks anymore!
