The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Imperial Subterrane

  • 1 of 7: Move along until you come to a large hole in the wall that you can drop down to a lower floor through.
  • 2 of 7: You'll then catch up with the emperor's party, who will be forced to beat up a few more assassins. (Again, you can just hang back and wait.)
  • 3 of 7: When it's over, approach the emperor and wait for him to let you choose a birthsign.
  • 4 of 7: I suggest you choose the Warrior for now since it'll allow you to do more melee damage and carry more stuff. You'll be able to change it later.
  • 5 of 7: When you're through talking to the emperor and his guards, check the assassins for potions and then move on with your new teammates.
  • 6 of 7: Loot a treasure chest that's over to the left when they move down to a lower floor, then hang back as more assassins attack.
  • 7 of 7: Keep hanging back and raiding assassin bodies for potions until you reach the door to the Sanctum. (Check for a treasure chest in one wall before going through the door.)
