The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Deliver the Amulet

  • 1 of 11: After looting the bodies of Glenroy and the assassins, go through the secret door that the sneaky assassin opened.
  • 2 of 11: Move along until you find a room with a treasure chest and a locked door.
  • 3 of 11: The key Baurus gave you will open the door, so go on through and click on the sewer entrance.
  • 4 of 11: Go down some steps and into a large sewer area with a couple of goblins and rats to fight.
  • 5 of 11: After looting the area, find the stairs in the NE chamber that lead you to a small barred gate you can open.
  • 6 of 11: See the Character Creation Tips if you need some help deciding on some of the details of your character.
  • 7 of 11: The first thing you'll probably want to do after exiting the sewers is go sell some of the junk you've picked up so far to the shops in the Imperial City's Market District. Also, you can adventure and explore around to build up your character a bit.
  • 8 of 11: When you're ready, travel to the Weynon Priory area that's just SE of Chorrol. It's location 24 on the Great Forest map, and you can travel there either on foot (or on horse) or by using the world map's fast travel option.
  • 9 of 11: Enter Weynon House and tell the guy who talks to you that you need to speak to Jauffre. He'll tell you where you can find him (he's usually upstairs).
  • 10 of 11: Talk to Jauffre to hand over the Amulet of Kings and find out who the mysterious missing heir is.
  • 11 of 11: TIPS: Ask Jauffre about "Assistance" when you get that topic so he'll unlock a nearby chest and give you permission to take stuff from it. Also, ask Brother Piner about the same topic to get a Block skill book and Prior Maborel to get permission to use his paint horse (which is outside in the stable). If you find Eronor outside, he'll give you a repair hammer.
