The Coldest Sleep

  • 1 of 8: This next quest is a much more straightforward find-and-kill routine.
  • 2 of 8: Travel to the camp on Gnoll Mountain (location 15 on the Jerall and Valus Mountains map).
  • 3 of 8: You'll have to start a ways SE of Gnoll Mountain, near Silver Tooth Cave (location 16) or Sedor (location 17), and find the winding path that leads up the mountain.
  • 4 of 8: Hoar-Blood is a tough axe fighter, and he has a wolf named Redmaw to help him out, so come prepared with paralyzing potions and spells, Chameleon clothing to help you remain unseen, etc.
  • 5 of 8: After he's dead, you need to go to Nornal (location 47 on the Nibenay map) for your reward and next contract.
  • 6 of 8: Unfortunately, you have to actually go in the place instead of just looking around outside it.
  • 7 of 8: Inside, move forward and down the stairs until you get to a path split a short ways past the semi-circular room.
  • 8 of 8: Take a right and go underwater, then pick the lock on the door to get to a sunken chest that contains the stuff you're after.
