The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Block

  • 1 of 9: Once you get your Block skill to 70, talk to Lum gro-Baroth in Chorrol or Ambroise Canne in Skingrad about "Training" to be referred to Andragil.
  • 2 of 9: You'll find her house above Dro'Shanji's house in the north part of Bravil. (It's just south of S'krivva's house, which you may be very familiar with from other quests.)
  • 3 of 9: Talk to her to find out that she wants to test you before she'll offer you training.
  • 4 of 9: Agree to the test, then prepare for a whuppin'.
  • 5 of 9: You're to take attacks from her for about 45 seconds without striking back.
  • 6 of 9: A good shield and some strong health-restoring potions or spells would be handy.
  • 7 of 9: Or if you can move fast enough, you can dodge her attacks. She doesn't have to hit you a certain number of times -- you just have to survive the assault without leaving the house or striking back.
  • 8 of 9: Run around the table as much as you can to keep her on its other side. If you're lucky, she'll get stuck against a chair for awhile.
  • 9 of 9: After she puts her hammer away, talk to her again to get your training.
