The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Blunt
of 9: Once you get your Blunt skill to 70, talk to Christophe Marane at the Brina Cross Inn or Azzan in Anvil about "Training" to be referred to Irene Metrick.
of 9: She has a house in the NW set of buildings in the Imperial City's Elven Gardens District. If she's not home, make "Blunt Training" your active quest and follow the quest arrow to find her.
of 9: She's a vicious killer-type person, and she won't deign to train you until you are, too.
of 9: You'll need to kill at least 50 NPCs before she'll train you.
of 9: Fortunately, *any* NPC counts, even the totally evil kind.
of 9: You can rack up a bunch of people-kill credits by clearing out a few conjurer and necromancer lairs, bandit camps and hideouts, mercenary and marauder bases, etc.
of 9: Also, the Daedric creatures called Dremora count as NPCs, and you'll be able to find plenty of them in Oblivion if you're high-level enough and have done a few main quests. (Or you can summon them if you're a powerful enough conjurer.)
of 9: You can keep track of your total by going to your "accomplishments" list (the rightmost page of your stats menu) and checking the "People Killed" field.
of 9: After your total is 50 or more, report back to Irene to get your master-level training.
