The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Marksman
of 8: Once you get your Marksman skill to 70, talk to Reman Broder in Skingrad or Pinarus Inventius in Anvil about "Training" to be referred to Alawen.
of 8: NOTE: You have to get Broder's or Inventius' disposition up to 80 in order to learn about Alawen.
of 8: She can be found at Troll Candle Camp (location 9 on the Gold Coast map).
of 8: If she's not there or standing nearby, make this quest active and follow the quest arrow to find her.
of 8: Talk to her about training to learn that she won't train you until you have an Elven bow.
of 8: There are absolutely no Elven bows in fixed locations, so you'll have to find one in leveled treasure if you're level 9 or higher, or try to get one randomly from weapon shops if you're level 13 or higher.
of 8: If you'd rather use the PC Cheat Codes' "player.additem" command, the form number to use is 229BF.
of 8: Return to Alawen with an Elven bow to get her to train you.
