The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Security
of 8: Once you get your Security skill to 70, talk to Dro'shanji in Bravil or Mandil in the Imperial City about "Training" to be referred to J'baana.
of 8: He's imprisoned in the northern half of the Imperial City's Prison District, behind two large locked gates that can't be lockpicked.
of 8: However, these gates will often be standing open because some careless guard went through them and left them that way.
of 8: If not, you'll have to enter the bastion and sneakily lockpick the door that's behind the guy at the desk.
of 8: TIP: Adamus Phillida has the key to that door. If you haven't done the Dark Brotherhood quest in which you're assigned to kill Phillida, you can probably find him somewhere nearby and pickpocket him.
of 8: When you ask J'baana about training, he sends you to Bravil to get a message from S'krivva.
of 8: Her house is near the NE corner of town. If the door is locked, make "Security Training" the active quest and follow the quest arrow to her.
of 8: Talk to her about "Message for J'baana" to get the message, then return to J'baana to hand it over and get the training option.
