How do I defeat Poseidon?
1 of 10: First, it might help to save your game as soon as you get a chance, just in case you lose this battle.
2 of 10: If you talked to Merops in Tartarus, he gave you a hint.
3 of 10: Poseidon never changes his defense. (In my game, Merops said that Poseidon never changes his defense but changes his offense, and he also said the opposite. In any case, Poseidon never changes his defense.)
4 of 10: If you select the proper weapons in the correct order, you'll hurt Poseidon enough that you will win.
5 of 10: You select your attacks in groups of three, and you can pick each weapon only once per group.
6 of 10: The more you seem to hurt Poseidon, the closer you are to the right answer.
7 of 10: If he falls down completely after an attack, you selected the right weapon at the right position in the group of three.
8 of 10: If he seems to get hurt but still manages to attack you back, you selected the right weapon but at the wrong time. (For example, if your second attack is the sword and that attack hurts Poseidon slightly, try the sword first or third instead.)
9 of 10: If Poseidon seems unhurt, the weapon you chose will not hurt him at all.
10 of 10: The correct attacks are chosen randomly for each game, so I can't give you a precise answer. However, you should be able to solve this puzzle by trial and error before he defeats you. If not, load your saved game and try again.
