Where am I supposed to go in this forest?
1 of 6: The forest is tricky to navigate. The designers seem to have reused graphics (or perhaps even made some paths random), so exits on two identical-looking screens may not lead to the same place. I therefore recommend that you take any guidance that appears.
2 of 6: Start wandering around the forest, and an owl will appear shortly. Follow it.
3 of 6: The first time you see it, it will lead you to Athena, who offers you a shield. Of course you should take it.
4 of 6: The owl will appear shortly after you leave this screen. Follow it again, and it will lead you most of the way to where you need to go, but not quite all of the way.
5 of 6: The owl will disappear when you're on a dark, brown screen. Look here for an exit to something other than more of the forest. (If you can't find it the first time and then get lost, keep exploring until the owl reappears and follow it back to that brown screen.)
6 of 6: Head to the back of that screen into a foggy area. There is an exit here that leads to a gorgon's lair. Take it and then go up the hill into the lair -- but you might want to save your game before entering.
