How do I get up to the Laestrygonians?
1 of 5: Solving this puzzle is basically a matter of blind luck as far as I can tell.
2 of 5: You can ask any of the four merchants to help you find Ulysses, but it's not always safe to do so.
3 of 5: Three of the four will lead you on deadly paths if you ask for their help. I therefore recommend that you save your game before trying to ask for any help -- or you could just read ahead.
4 of 5: Go to the tent on the left side of the screen. You won't be able to enter, but get as close as you can to it and press SPACE. The merchant will then come out and talk to you.
5 of 5: Agree to his offer, and you'll safely be at the top of the cliff.
