Basic Interface Tips
If you haven't done so already, read the manual from cover-to-cover. Answers to many of your questions will be found inside. Keep the manual handy while playing. The Quick Reference Guide on the back cover is especially useful.
When trying to pick up or use something, you must be standing directly in front of it. If you fail with several attempts, readjust your angle of approach. Bump into an object on a wall, for instance, before you "action" it or use an inventory item on it.
Sometimes you can't see everything that is inside a drawer or cabinet. Be sure to "action" it several times to get all of the contents.
When someone gives you something, remember to "action" again if you don't see it in your inventory.
