Advice about Reincarnation
Reincarnation is one of the coolest things about Omikron. Just because a person does not seem to possess top notch fighting skills, do not rule them out as a candidate. It is beneficial to "become" each and every possible character in the game, and I'll tell you why.
In addition to Kay'l, you can become 29 different people. Every one has different abilities and items. Transferring into them is the only way to find some of the goodies in Omikron. No matter what shape you take, all locations will still be available to you (unless your character tells you otherwise).
Most incarnates have at least one SPECIAL ITEM in their Sneak that is added to your possessions when you transfer. Some have magical potions and valuable items. If that special item is an apartment key, go to their apartment to find potions, medikits, magical items, money, weapons, etc. (Examine the key to see if an address is given.)
They have MONEY. Use it to buy better weapons, ammo, life restoring kits, and potions.
BE AWARE -- contrary to what the manual says, you will lose all of the money you have accumulated as your old character once the transfer is complete. You will also lose ammunition when you change bodies, even though the weapons themselves remain.
