How can I get Elmo to leave me alone?
1 of 16: He doesn't want you to set foot on his island.
2 of 16: You're going to have to make him believe you own the island.
3 of 16: Have you tried buying some land in the Town Records part of the Town Hall?
4 of 16: If you have, the deed you get states that you own the island south of the northernmost island in the lake. Elmo's island is the northernmost one.
5 of 16: If only you could create another island further north.
6 of 16: Well, actually you can. You can't just conjure it out of thin air, though.
7 of 16: If the water level were lower, perhaps another island would be created.
8 of 16: Do you know of any way to lower the water level?
9 of 16: You'll need something that can absorb all the water.
10 of 16: Baby diapers are supposed to be able to absorb a very large amount of water.
11 of 16: If you've talked to the truck driver after he arrives at the diner, you'll know that his truck is full of diapers.
12 of 16: You need to cause an accident to get those diapers into the lake. Look around outside the town.
13 of 16: What's the only thing stopping people from using the new bridge?
14 of 16: That's right, the "Road Closed" sign.
15 of 16: Move the sign immediately after you're sent back through time. The truck will plummet into the lake soon afterwards.
