How can I kill the gerbils?
1 of 9: First of all, make sure you don't search the pile of wood shavings on the top floor of the cage until you're ready, as that is when the gerbils will go after you.
2 of 9: The only place where you can deal with the gerbils is on the bottom floor of the cage.
3 of 9: First, you will need something to distract the gerbils.
4 of 9: Something that would be too fast for them to shoot would be nice. Before the test, search Boonsville for a suitable creature.
5 of 9: Odie, the boy on the bridge, is using grasshoppers as bait. You'll need to get some of them from him.
6 of 9: However, the grasshoppers are frozen. You'll need some heat to defrost them.
7 of 9: Zlarg gave you the item needed. Use the gun on the grasshoppers while you're on the bottom floor.
8 of 9: You will also need to find a place to hide from the shots.
9 of 9: After you've defrosted the grasshoppers and the gerbils are following you, hide behind the large wheel. The gerbils will shoot each other. Remember to defrost the grasshoppers before waking the gerbils, though, as you will not have enough time to do it later.
