General Hints
1 of 4: When using the keyboard, DON'T USE THE REGULAR ARROW KEYS! Only use the ones on the numeric keypad. If you use the regular arrow keys, you will not be able to run left and jump at the same time. It's impossible to program around that. It makes many of the sequences SO much easier.
2 of 4: For combat -- build a few force fields, then start hacking away at theirs by shooting it. When yours gets low, don't hesitate to build a new one. If you use the "devastating" shot (read the manual), it will kill the enemy's force field entirely. But make sure you don't accidentally kill your own.
3 of 4: Don't get discouraged. I know at times it seems this game encourages it, but in reality, if you just do something a LITTLE different the next time, it will probably work.
