Overclocked: A History Of Violence Hints
How can I help the first patient recover his memory?
of 12: You're going to need a means to communicate with him other than talking to him, since all these kids seem able to do is cry and wail.
of 12: Remember what Dave told Moretti on the phone -- the kid was yelling the word "DELETE." Think of this as a kind of trigger word.
of 12: Maybe if we relayed that word back to the patient (it's the one in cell one that Moretti was referring to), he might remember more and be able to communicate a little more openly?
of 12: We can't simply speak the word to him, as is he still unresponsive, as Dr. Young said.
of 12: Try to think of another means of conveying a word to someone if they cannot hear you.
of 12: Maybe we could write the word down and have them read it?
of 12: There's a piece of paper and a pencil to be found somewhere in the hospital which would be ideal.
of 12: It isn't in any of the cells, or in the cockpit. Did you explore the hallway opposite the cells yet?
of 12: It's actually inside the Nurse's Station, which is found down the hallway opposite the cells, inside a grey door with no window.
of 12: Grab it (Tamara won't object), and head back and speak to the male patient in cell one again.
of 12: You will not need to actually use the pencil and paper, or your pendulum -- Dave will handle this all by himself.
of 12: Dave will hypnotize the patient, and the first of the game's flashback sequences will begin. You will be controlling the patient during the flashback, and as such will have a new inventory. Remember this.
