After the flashback...
1 of 10: As the flashback ends, night falls, and you will have finished at the hospital for the day.
2 of 10: So, head outside, and you will notice that the man you met on the ferry pier is standing here.
3 of 10: Speak with him -- turns out this is Stuart Miller, and he is the night watchman at the hospital.
4 of 10: After you've spoken with him, head back to the hotel.
5 of 10: After the cut-scene and phone conversation with Kim, Dave will tell you to call his friend Terry.
6 of 10: Do so by using your PDA and clicking Terry Ingram's name in the phonebook.
7 of 10: After this, you can try to get some sleep.
8 of 10: It seems that Dave is going to need a little more to drink before he retires for the evening.
9 of 10: So, head outside and to the bar that the porter recommended earlier, The Nighthawk. It's right next door, to the left of the hotel.
10 of 10: Head inside and exhaust all dialogue choices with the bartender, then head back to the hotel and sleep.
