Overclocked: A History Of Violence Hints
Which of the surveillance tapes do I need to find?
of 14: Dave will tell you which tapes are needed -- it's your job to sift through the names, dates, and times, and work out which ones are required.
of 14: There are two we need: the one showing the kids playing the computer game that caused them to enter their trance-like state, and the one that showed the man shooting through all of their bedroom doors in the middle of the night.
of 14: You now need to think back through all of the flashbacks you've seen and work out on which day of the experiment, and at roughly what time, those two events would have occurred.
of 14: The first event, the shooting through the bedroom doors, obviously occurred in the Corridor.
of 14: It occurred in the middle of the night, so selecting a time of 0-6am is your best bet here.
of 14: As for the date, remember that the experiment lasted one week, and that all of our flashbacks occurred AFTER the shootings had occurred.
of 14: We know that our PDA recalled regressions on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of November.
of 14: This means that if the experiment was seven days long and there were three days after the shootings, that there must have been four days before them.
of 14: So, the first tape we need is: CORRIDOR, DAY 4, 0-6 HOURS.
of 14: As for the second tape, we know that the event in question took place in the LAN Room, as this is where we saw that sequence in the flashbacks.
of 14: We know it took place in the evening, so select 18-24 hours.
of 14: As for the date, we know that the patients had a day to become introduced to their surroundings and each other BEFORE they were introduced to the simulator.
of 14: The second tape we need is: LAN ROOM, DAY 2, 18-24 HOURS.
